OTS

The Team

OTS is run exclusively by volunteers. We give our time to help manage and produce content for the website, organise events, create relationships within the black community and with youth organisations. We’re also always on the look out people to give their time or establish connections with their organisations. Read on to find out more about us.

Chair: Dipo Ajani

Dipo has been the driving force of Foundation activities ranging from acting as a trustee providing grants, to active involvement in projects that promote academic achievement and young people’s growth. OTS is Dipo’s channel for developing activities in this area.

An IT Manager by day, Dipo is also a keen footballer, fancying himself as a right foot John Barnes who’s career was prematurely ended.

Lola Oyelayo

Lola joined OTS to help drive the development of the website and enter the social media space. A User Experience Consultant by day, Lola is all about creating engaging online experiences and getting more black people involved in the digital media space.

A self-titled afro-geek, you’ll also find Lola regularly holding a passport and an overnight bag planning to jet off to far corners of the world.

Asomi Ithia

Asomi is an Online Product Manager who has been involved with OTS since the project was first created. He likes to think of himself as a revolutionary with no voice. Asomi knows a thing or two about marketing and professional development.

Asomi shares Dipo’s love of football, except his participation takes the form of couch hugging on a Saturday afternoon.

Patricia Foster

Patricia has been involved with the Njoya Foundation since the very beginning and has been instrumental to all of OTS’ activities over the years. Patricia is an internationally published writer, performer, radio broadcaster and an educator for over fifteen years. She is also a popular literature and multi-media workshop facilitator.

Patricia is a health-junkie, vegan and raw food enthusiast and will give you run-down on the best tasting seeds in town.

Cynthia Torto

Cynthia has been involved with the Njoya foundation since 2006, actively taking a role in the shaping of the foundation’s activities.  After relocating to Africa at the beginning of 2010, her current day (and night!) job is events and sponsorship manager for Vodafone Ghana.

Since moving back to Ghana in her spare time you’ll usually find her on the beach sipping on a Cucumber Daiquiri.
