Over the past 9 years, members of our staff have presented inspirational lectures in over 600 schools in the UK. We've awarded 50 undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries to architectural students in the UK, Caribbean and South Africa, as well as three full scholarships to Architectural Association students. Most of our activities take place at the Stephen Lawrence Centre in Deptford, South London, although members of staff also travel widely through the UK and abroad.

ORIGIN's mission is to make sure that young men of African descent are proud of their rich heritage and prepared for living productive lives. The branches of our rites of passage work include ORIGIN for young men and AKUAH for young women. Our programmes enable young people to journey together from childhood to adulthood.

Youth2Youth (Y2Y) is a unique helpline service run by young people for young people. The helpline is for any young person under the age of 19 years who feel they need emotional support. Whichever way they choose to contact Y2Y they can be assured that their call will be treated confidentially and a young person will be there to give them the support and help they need.

IntoUniversity Ð is a charity which encourages aspiration and academic achievement for young people from the age of 7 to 18+. Primary and secondary students can come down to our centres for Academic Support, where they receive after-school help with homework, coursework, literacy and numeracy from trained tutors. We also offer one-to-one support with GCSE, AS Level, A2 Level and degree options.

The Production Trainee Scheme develops the programme makers of the future. It gives creative people the opportunity to be trained Ôon the jobÕ at the BBC. We offer trainees a mixture of training and work placements, as well as mentoring by a senior BBC manager. We want trainees to be able to tell a great story and have the skills they need to turn creative ideas into reality.
